How Rocket Rush works

Rocket Rush is a crash game, and there is only one rocket at a time. Every visitor on VegasSlots shares the same round. A seven-second betting window opens, you enter an XP stake between 5 and 5,000, and when the window closes the rocket lifts off. The multiplier starts at 1.00× and climbs continuously. Cash out at any moment and your stake is multiplied by the number on screen. If the rocket busts before you press the button, the stake is gone.

This game is one of the VegasSlots Originals: built in-house, provably fair, and every win counts towards the weekly league.

The climb follows a fixed curve: the multiplier grows as e^(0.06·t), where t is the time in seconds since lift-off. In practice that means about 2× after 11.6 seconds and 10× after roughly 38 seconds. Early on the numbers move slowly, and later they speed up, which is why a late cash-out always feels like it could have waited one more second.

A side panel lists everybody’s stakes and cash-outs as they happen, along with the last 12 crash points. Seeing another player leave at 1.5× while you are holding for 3× is the part that makes a shared round different from a game you play alone.

The odds, stated plainly

The crash point is drawn so that the chance of the rocket reaching a multiplier x is 0.97 divided by x. That gives 48.5% for 2×, 9.7% for 10× and 0.97% for 100×. About 3.96% of rounds bust at exactly 1.00×, before anyone can react. Averaged over a very large number of rounds, every stake returns 97%, whatever multiplier you aim for. The remaining 3% is the house edge.

That is worth reading twice, because it means a low target and a high target have the same expected return. They only differ in how the results are spread: a 1.5× target wins often and pays little, a 50× target wins rarely and pays a lot.

Provably fair

Every round is settled on the server. Before the countdown ends, the page shows the hash of that round’s secret seed. After the bust the seed itself is revealed. The “Verify last round” button recomputes the crash point from that seed in your browser and compares it with what happened. If the seed did not match the hash shown beforehand, the check would fail, so the result cannot be changed once the hash is out.

Tips that actually matter

No strategy beats the 97%. Doubling after a loss, waiting for “due” high rounds or copying other players changes nothing, because each round is independent. What you can control is how your XP is paced.

  • Set an auto cash-out. The optional auto cash-out fires at the multiplier you choose, with no reaction time involved. It removes the temptation to hold on just a little longer.
  • Keep stakes small relative to your balance. The 5 XP minimum exists for a reason. A stake of one or two percent of your balance lets you sit through a run of early busts.
  • Match the target to what you want. A target near 2× wins close to half the time. A target of 10× wins roughly one round in ten and needs patience.
  • Use the history panel as a record, not a forecast. The last 12 crash points show what happened, not what comes next.

How it fits the competition

Rocket Rush is part of the VegasSlots Originals, which are played with XP only. XP has no cash value and cannot be bought or withdrawn. Your wins count towards the daily leaderboard and towards a weekly season with five leagues: Bronze from 0, Silver from 1,000, Gold from 5,000, Platinum from 15,000 and Diamond from 40,000 season XP. Promotion happens live during the week, so you do not have to wait for a Monday reset to move up.

Three daily missions are shared by every player and reset at 00:00 UTC. Badges reward particular moments, such as “10× club” and “Moonshot”, which is awarded for a 50× cash-out.

Frequently asked questions

Is Rocket Rush really the same round for everyone?

Yes. There is one shared round at a time, with a seven-second betting window before each launch. The side panel shows other players’ stakes and cash-outs live.

Can I win XP back by playing a pattern?

No. Each round’s crash point is independent of earlier ones, and the long-run return is 97% at every target. A pattern can change how your results are spread, never the average.

Who decides when the rocket busts?

The server does, and it settles every round. The crash point comes from the secret seed whose hash you see before launch, so nobody can adjust it once betting has started.

How do I check that a round was fair?

Press “Verify last round” under the game. Your browser recomputes the crash point from the revealed seed and compares it with the hash that was shown before the round.

Can I cash out XP for money?

No. XP has no cash value and cannot be bought or withdrawn. The game is for 18+ only, and the help line for your market is shown under the game.
