Gamble your XP

The XP Vault is where the XP you earn across VegasSlots actually gets interesting. Stake it on the vault tower: every floor you reach doubles the pot, and you can cash the whole thing back into your XP balance on any floor. The first floor is a 48.5% shot, every floor after it a straight 50/50, so wherever you stop the long-run return is 97%. Reach the tenth floor and a stake of 10 XP becomes 10,240 — set off the alarm, and the vault keeps it.

Why it matters

XP has no cash value and cannot be bought or withdrawn. But a big cash-out rockets you up today’s leaderboard, while a bad run wipes you back to the start, so every climb is a real decision. Earn XP on the slots and the Originals, then bring it here and see how far you dare to push it.

Tips that actually matter

No floor choice beats the 97%. Because the first floor is a 48.5% chance and every later floor is a straight 50%, the long-run return is the same whether you cash out on floor one or floor nine. What the floor you stop on does change is how your results are spread.

This game is one of the VegasSlots Originals: built in-house, provably fair, and every win counts towards the weekly league.

  • Decide the floor before you start. The tower is built for suspense, with the ride and the alarm sound. It is much harder to stop on your plan when the next floor is one click away.
  • Stake what you can afford to lose entirely. A climb to floor 10 pays 1,024× the stake, but most climbs end earlier. Stakes run from 5 to 5,000 XP, so scale to your balance.
  • Remember that each floor is independent. Failing on floor 4 last time says nothing about floor 4 now.
  • Treat the leaderboard as a long game. One lucky climb can put you high on the daily board, but a failed climb costs the whole stake. Cashing out on lower floors keeps your XP working for the weekly season.

How the climb pays

The vault has ten floors and each one doubles the stake, so floor 1 pays 2×, floor 2 pays 4× and floor 10 pays 1,024×. The first floor goes up with a 48.5% chance and every later floor with a straight 50%. Both numbers are set so that, if you cash out on any floor, the long-run return is 97%. For example, a 100 XP stake cashed out on floor 3 returns 800 XP when it succeeds, and nothing when the climb fails on the way.

The game is a suspense ride. The tower animates floor by floor, and an alarm sounds when the climb fails. Every round is settled on the server, so the animation shows you a result that has already been decided.

Fair play and verification

Every round is settled on the server and is provably fair. The hash of the secret seed is shown before the round, the seed is revealed afterwards, and the “Verify last round” button recomputes the result in your browser.

How it fits the competition

XP Vault wins count towards the daily leaderboard and a weekly season with five leagues: Bronze from 0, Silver from 1,000, Gold from 5,000, Platinum from 15,000 and Diamond from 40,000 season XP. Promotion is live during the week. Three daily missions are shared by all players and reset at 00:00 UTC.

The “Top of the vault” badge is awarded for reaching floor 10, and further badges such as “10× club” are collected across all the Originals. XP is never worth money here: it has no cash value and cannot be bought or withdrawn.

Frequently asked questions

How much can a stake grow in the XP Vault?

There are ten floors and each one doubles the stake, up to 1,024× on the tenth floor. A 10 XP stake becomes 10,240 XP there.

Why does the first floor have a 48.5% chance?

The first floor carries the 3% edge, so it goes up with 48.5%. Every later floor goes up with 50%. The result is a 97% long-run return on whichever floor you cash out.

When does the alarm sound?

When the climb fails on a floor. The stake is lost for that round.

Can the result be checked?

Yes. Press “Verify last round” under the game to recompute the result in your browser from the revealed seed.

Can XP be exchanged for money?

No. XP has no cash value and cannot be bought or withdrawn. The game is for people aged 18 or over, and a help line for your market is shown under the game.
